Elderly Alabama man killed when pickup truck strikes ditch, rolls multiple times, state troopers say

An elderly Alabama man was killed Monday when the pickup truck he was driving veered off the road, struck a ditch and rolled over several times, state troopers said.

The single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 9:20 a.m. Monday, and claimed the life of a Cullman man.

James K. Neal, 89, was fatally injured when the 2005 Chevrolet Silverado that he was driving left the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned multiple times.

Neal was not using a seat belt at the time of crash, was ejected and pronounced decease at the scene.

he crash occurred on Cullman County 813 near Cullman County 410, approximately six miles west of Good Hope, in Cullman County.
