A reward has been offered for information on the location of a missing Alabama woman who disappeared more than 10 years ago.
Janice “Becky” Laplant was reported missing on August 10, 2011.
The 49-year-old was last seen on July 25, 2011 at the Lincoln Manor Apartments in Lincoln, Alabama.
A $5,000 reward has been offered for information leading to either the location of Laplant or the identify of anyone involved in her disappearance.
The reward has been promised by Season of Justice and the Central Alabama Crime Stoppers.
Laplant was attending a cookout with neighbors at the apartment complex when she and her former brother-in-law went to get more drinks from a nearby gas station.
The man said Laplant had met a former acquaintance at the gas station and told him to go ahead without her.
She was never seen again and none of her accounts were ever touched after she disappeared and a large disability check that was mailed afer she disappeared went uncashed.
Anyone with information about Laplant’s whereabouts is asked to contact CrimeStoppers using the 24-hour tip line at 334-215-STOP (7867) or 1-833-AL1-STOP (833-251-7867)
