Alabama Skies: One more day with pesky front causing widespread rain, storms
Published 1:30 am Saturday, April 8, 2023
It’s looking like northern parts of the state may finally get rid of some of that persistent rainfall from the past couple of days by this afternoon. Still, central and southern Alabama will still face plenty of storms and showers throughout the day as a cold front remains in complete control of our weather for a few more hours.
Easter is looking much better for outdoor activities for most of us. We’re looking at clearing skies and nice temps, at least for part of the day, Sunday.
North Alabama
Rain likely before noon. Cloudy with a high near 60. Tonight, becoming partly cloudy with a low of 47.
Central Alabama
Showers likely until late afternoon with a high of 59. A few showers tonight early, then becoming partly cloudy. Low of 48.
South Alabama
Widespread showers with a high of 61. More showers and thunderstorms this evening and overnight with a low of 48.
Gulf Coast
Showers with a few scattered thunderstorms. High near 73. Tonight, a few isolated showers or a thunderstorm, then becoming mostly cloudy with a low of 53.
