First responders search for missing Alabama boater

Alabama officers are searching for clues to a missing Alabama boater.
Teams of rescuers are searching for Roger Milby, 58, of Opelika on Lake Martin.
Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Marine Patrol along with personnel from the Alexander City Fire and Police departments and the Alexander City/Tallapoosa County Rescue Squad are searching for the missing boater.
The Alexander City Police Department took a missing person report from Milby’s wife and law enforcement began searching for him. Milby’s truck was located by law enforcement at Coley Creek Boat Ramp and shortly after his boat was recovered just up river north of Camp ASCCA.
Law enforcement could be seen searching Milby’s boat for clues as to his whereabouts.
Currently searchers are looking for Milby from the water with dive teams on standby.
ALEA said no further information is available as the incident is still under investigation.
