Alabama man sentenced to decades in prison for producing pornography of 12-year-old girl

An Alabama man was sentenced to more than 30 years in prison after admitting he produced pornographic imagery of a 12-year-old girl, federal prosecutors said.

A federal judge sentenced a Timothy Joseph Page, 40, of Montevallo, for child pornography offenses, announced U.S. Attorney Prim F. Escalona and Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent in Charge Katrina W. Berger.

U.S. District Court Judge Anna Manasco sentenced Page to 405 months in prison followed by a lifetime of supervised release. In December 2023, Page pleaded guilty to two counts of production of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography. This conviction will require him to register as a sex offender in accordance with the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA).

According to the plea agreement, Page produced child pornography depicting a twelve-year-old female. He was also in possession of more than 400 images of child pornography, including images depicting prepubescent children.
