An Alabama woman is accused of chasing her ex-husband with a knife during a domestic incident early Thursday morning.

Police in Mobile responded to a domestic disturbance in the 2500 block of McLaughlin Drive shortly before 4 a.m. Thursday.

Amanda Tolbert, 40, was arrested on charges of second-degree criminal mischief and first-degree domestic violence after she reportedly vandalized a vehicle, chased her ex-husband with a knife and then attempted to force entry into a residence.

Tolbert was booked into the Mobile County Metro Jail.
