Alabama Skies: Rain chances cover the entire state Sunday

Although the entire state has the chance for a shower or thunderstorm Sunday, don’t let the attached map from the National Weather Service fool you. It’s showing rain chances for just about all of us, but we’re not expecting any particular storm to last a long time in any certain place, and rain coverage isn’t expected to be widespread. The map is simply showing we all have the chance for an isolated to scattered shower or storm today, especially in the afternoon.
Otherwise, we’re going to be quite hot as just about everyone hits the 90-degree mark again. Monday may bring better rain coverage for most of the state.
North Alabama
Sunny with a shower or two developing in the afternoon. High of 91. Overnight, a few showers or thunderstorms are possible until midnight or so. Mostly cloudy with a low of 65.
Central Alabama

South Alabama
