An Alabama school teacher has been arrested for allegedly having sexual contact with students, police said.

Robertsdale police announced the arrest of Daniel Navarro, 46, on three counts of being a school employee who had sexual contact with students under the age of 19.

The alleged crimes occurred, police said, while Navarro was a culinary arts program teacher at the South Baldwin Center of Technology. Online profiles indicate he also worked as a private chef.

The school board issued a statement saying Navarro no longer worked for the school district.

Navarro bonded out of jail after posting $90,000 in bond.
