A four-year-old was airlifted to a hospital Sunday after being shot in the leg by another child in what Alabama deputies are calling an accidental shooting.

Officials from the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office report that the shooting happened on Happy Hollow Road off of Wilcox Road.

Officials say the four-year-old was shot in the leg after another child found a gun, that discharged by accident.

The four-year old child was flown to a Pensacola hospital and is in stable condition.
