An Alabama man died after his motorcycle collided with a tractor-trailer Monday afternoon.

Alabama State Troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 1:13 p.m. on Monday, May 27.

The crash claimed the life of David R. Carr, 62, of Prattville, when the 2011 Honda FCS600A Silver Wing motorcycle he was operating was struck by a 2022 Freightliner Tractor Trailer, driven by Cameron J. Jarman, 24, of Honoraville.

Carr was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Alabama 14 near the 148 mile marker, approximately two miles west of Prattville, in Autauga County.

Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
