An Alabama teenager who went missing Tuesday while swimming with friends in a creek was found dead Wednesday by search teams

Authorities said the body of Quamar Parker, 16, was recovered at approximately 1:45 p.m. Wednesday in a Mobile County creek.

Parker jumped into Cold Creek Tuesday while swimming with friends at approximately 4 p.m., went under the water and never resurfaced, authorities said.

Parker was a student at Davidson High School
