An Alabama pastor has been indicted on charges of sexual abuse and sodomy.

Jail records show Gregory Sheldon Cannon, 61, was arrested Monday on charges of first degree sodomy.

Cannon is the pastor of the Rice Temple A.O.H. Church of God in Montgomery.

He was being held without bond Wednedsay pending an “Aniah’s Law” hearing.

Exactly what Cannon is charged with doing, was not immediately clear.
