An Alabama man was killed Friday when his truck drove into the wall of a culvert and flipped over, state troopers said.

The accident happened at approximately midnight on Alabama 193, approximately 5 miles south of Mobile.

Thomas H. Clough, 36, of Dauphin Island, was killed when the 2015 Ford F-350 truck left the road, struck the headwall of a culvert and overturned, state troopers said.

Clough was reportedly not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash troopers said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
