An Alabama tow truck driver found gunned down outside his tow truck Saturday night has been identified by authorities.

Driver Christopher Deandre Coleman, 41, of Birmingham, was found shot to death late Saturday night.

Police were called to the scene after someone called 911 and reported a tow truck backed onto an abandoned property on Maple Avenue SW.

Police found the tow truck, still running, and a body next to it.
