Dead body found inside partially submerged vehicle, Alabama sheriff’s office says

A dead body was found Wednesday in a partially submerged vehicle, an Alabama sheriff’s office reported.
Walker County Sheriff’s Office deputies said they were called Wednesday afternoon about a suspicious vehicle off Homestead Road in the Dogtown area.
Upon investigation of the vehicle, which was partially submerged in a pond, a dead man was discovered inside. Investigators said they quickly determined that foul play was likely involved in the death.
Upon further investigation, it was determined that the incident occurred in Winston County, whose sheriff’s office were contacted and took over the investigation.
