Alabama Skies: Rainy weather moving out, cooler weather moving in as cold front moves through the state

Any remaining storms will be gone by early Wednesday morning, leaving behind some very gusty winds up to 35 miles per hour and cooler temperatures.

We’ll have cool days and chilly nights across most of the state the next couple days and nights. Although we’ll start warming up, we’re expecting sunny skies through at least Saturday before we have rain chances return Sunday night or Monday.

North Alabama

Partly sunny and breezy with a high of 59. Mostly clear Wednesday night with a low of 42.

Central Alabama

Mostly sunny and windy with a high of 63. Mostly clear overnight with a low of 43.

South Alabama

Partly cloudy early, then becoming sunny with a high of 65. Windy. Mostly clear overnight with a low of 43.

Gulf Coast

Mostly cloudy early, then clearing with a high of 69. Windy. Clear overnight with a low of 45.
