Two people killed, two teens injured when SUV strikes tree, Alabama troopers report

A weekend wreck killed two people including an 18-year-old and two other teens were injured when their SUV struck a tree, state troopers said.

The accident happened on Dallas County Road 45 near Highway 80 at approximately 7:50 p.m. Saturday night, troopers said.

Brandon A. Stewart, 24, of Madison was driving the 2018 Jeep Cherokee when it veered off the road and struck the tree.

Stewart and an 18-year-old passenger were killed. Two other passengers, one 18 years old and the other 19 years old, were injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
