Five men held on $1 million bond after undercover child sex sting, Alabama police say

Alabama police said Monday five adult men were arrested after an undercover police operation allegedly caught the men texting and speaking by phone with a person they believed were children attempting to engage in sex acts.

All five men were being held on $1 million bond, police said.

Albertville police announced the undercover operation in conjunction with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office and the Marshall County District Attorney’s Office along with Covenant Rescue Group and the U.S. Homelands Security Investigations division.

Arrested were:

Albertville police said the five men “were in communication with what they believed were children via text and phone calls in order to engage in unlawful sex acts.”
