Four men gunned down outside Alabama car wash, investigators say

Alabama police continue to investigate a quadruple homicide that occurred on Friday afternoon.

Birmingham police say they were called at approximately 2:45 p.m. Friday to reports for a shooting on Center Street North.

Officers found four victims lying motionless on the ground.

Three of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene. A fourth victim was transported to a hospital but was later pronounced dead.

Police identified the victims as:

Cortex Ray, 32, Talton Tate, 26, Terrell Edwards, 38, and Kevin McGhee, 38, all of Birmingham.

Investigators said the four were at a car wash when a suspect or suspects pulled up and began shooting.
