Alabama Skies: More rainy weather on the way Thursday

If you’re a fan of cloudy, rainy days like Wednesday, you’re in luck! Thursday will be almost just like it… with even more rain possible across the state.
Torrential rainfall has plagued the southeast for a couple days now. Across several states, there have been water rescues, tornado warnings, and severe weather.
We’ll continue having chances for flash flooding statewide Thursday. We could also start having some river flooding issues.
Rain will continue through Friday with a few lingering showers Saturday.
North Alabama
Showers are likely with a few thunderstorms possible, mainly in the afternoon. High of 68. More showers likely overnight with a storm or two. Low of 54.
Central Alabama
Showers are likely with a thunderstorm possible. High of 69. More showers overnight with a thunderstorm or two possible. Low of 60.
South Alabama
Widespread showers with a storm or two possible. High near 71. More heavy rain overnight with a storm around. Low of 62.
Gulf Coast
Heavy rain is likely with a thunderstorm possible. Fog in the morning. High of 73. More showers are likely with a thunderstorm in the area. Low of 61.
