An Alabama woman reported a fake burglary at her house because she was scared of the weather, according to police.

Officials from the Dothan Police Department report that Kelley Carole Giniebra, 39,called 911 on Jan. 9 to report a burglary at her house.

When officers arrived at her house, they determined that there was no burglary at the address.

Through discussion with Giniebra, officers determined that she falsely reported the crime to get police to arrive quickly to her address. Police report that Giniebra made the call because she was scared of the weather that was happening that day.

Giniebra was arrested and charged with one count of making a false report to law enforcement.
