An Alabama teen died, and two other people were taken to the hospital for treatment in a weekend house fire.

Officials with the Marshall County Coroner’s Office identified the 18-year-old victim as Dawn Allen.

Allen was killed in a house fire in the 1900 block of Half Section Road in Albertville. Firefighters responded to the house fire at approximately 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Two other people were transported to a local hospital treatment.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the State Fire Marshall’s Office and the Albertville Fire Department.

Firefighters from the Douglas Fire Department and Pleasant Fire Department helped fight the blaze.
