We’ve known for several days that we were approaching a very wet week in the Deep South. We were also watching a couple models showing the potential for some strong storms. That’s still a possibility, mainly Wednesday and Thursday.

This system will feature rain, and plenty of it! We could get enough rainfall to put a nice dent, or even alleviate, the drought. We’ll have good chances of rain through the weekend with our first day of sunshine Sunday.

It won’t rain the entire time, and we could even see some peaks of sunshine throughout the week, but don’t get too far away from a roof or umbrella.

North Alabama
