Alabama man killed when his car strikes tree, state troopers said

An Alabama man was killed Saturday night when his car struck a tree, Alabama state troopers said.
The single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 9:45 p.m. Saturday, and claimed the life of a Eufaula, Alabama, man.
Darius J. Pinkins, 20, was fatally injured when the 2010 Nissan Rogue he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree.
State troopers said Pinkins was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama 51 near the 48 mile marker, approximately 2 miles south of Clayton, in Barbour County.
