Alabama woman killed when car veers off road and flips, state troopers say

An Alabama woman was killed Wednesday night when her car left the road and flipped over, ejecting her, state troopers said.
The single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 10:25 p.m. Wednesday, and claimed the life of a Georgiana woman.
Sophia A. Rogers, 22, was fatally injured when the 2005 Chevrolet Malibu she was driving left the roadway and overturned, troopers said.
Rogers was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash, was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama 185 near the 22 mile marker, approximately 1 mile south of Fort Deposit, in Lowndes County.
