Our quick warmup certainly didn’t last long as Friday brings very cold temperatures to the northern half of the state while the rest of the state cools down Friday night.
We’ll again have wind chill values near zero upstate while the Gulf Coast dips into the 20s.
The good thing about this round of winter weather is that we’ll remain mostly dry for the weekend.
Next week brings a big warmup, but it will also bring plenty of heavy rain and thunderstorms.
