Alabama Skies: Dreary weather for most of us Saturday. How long will it last?

Although most of the rain will be moving out of Alabama Saturday morning early, we’ll still have a cloudy, cold day across the state.

We’ll peak out about 50 to 52 degrees in the northern half of the state while temps will drop throughout the afternoon in southern Alabama.

The coast will have a little bit of sunshine in places with more in other places. We’ll also reach about 60 along the beaches.

We’re still watching the chance for severe weather Monday night into Tuesday morning. All modes of severe weather are possible, including tornadoes. Models are showing most of the bad weather will stay towards the Gulf Coast if it does develop.
