The arrest of a Louisiana man last month on charges of possessing images of sexual abuse and child rape has led to the arrest of two other suspects, including an Alabama man.

A Vidalia, Louisiana, man arrested in early December for having devices with over 400 files containing sexual abuse material involving children led to the two additional arrests in what investigators said was a possible child exploitation network.

Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office first arrested Michael George, 67, who resides at 131 Doyle Road in Vidalia.

CPSO initially charged him with 286 counts of child pornography and possession of images that involved humans sexually abusing animals with more charges added over several weeks as CPSO and Grant Parish Cyber Crime Units reviewed evidence found on five cell phones and three laptop computers seized during the arrest.

CPSO, Lafayette Police Department, Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Marshals, and FBI agents made two additional arrests in the case.

In addition to approximately 400 files recovered “consisting of the extreme sexual abuse and rape of children,” investigators discovered text messages between George and two others.

Their conversations consisted of “very detailed plans to carry out the rape, kidnapping and sexual abuse of very young children under the age of 12,” authorities said.

These conversations went on for several months with all three suspected of transferring child sexual abuse material with an encrypted text application.

Detectives recovered the files from the device and identified the two other people as Gloria Naquin Santos-Hernandez, a Lafayette woman, and John Edward Allday, a man from Mobile County, Alabama.

After identifying the two individuals, arrest warrants were obtained and forwarded to the respective jurisdictions.

Santos-Hernandez was taken into custody at her residence by the Lafayette Police Department, U.S. Marshals and FBI agents.

Allday was taken into custody this morning by the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office and F.BI. agents and will be extradited to Louisiana at a later date.

Allday, 49, is charged with 10 counts of pornography involving victims under 13.

Santos-Hernandez, 56, is charged with two counts of pornography involving victims under 13.
