An Alabama woman was arrested Saturday and charged with murder after a domestic dispute, a local sheriff’s office said.

Marshall County Sheriff’s Office investigators said Krissy Cowen, 53, of Guntersville, was charged with murder after deputies were called to a home on Tick Ducket Road in the Martling community.

Deputies found a dead person at the scene along with Cowen, who was arrested and last being held without bond.

Details of what led to the dispute and the identity of the victim have not been disclosed.
