Alabama Skies: Much colder weather coming with a slight chance of snow remaining for some of us

Although at least half of Alabama will reach the upper 50s and 60s Wednesday, the entire state will get much colder Wednesday night. Temperatures will dip into the 30s across the state except for right around 40 on the Gulf Coast.

We’ll also have a stretch of sunny, nice days. The only chance for precipitation is in far northern Alabama Thursday night into Friday morning, and that’s when it could get interesting for a few of us. We’re not expecting any travel issues, but there could be a few snowflakes for a couple of hours.
