The search for a missing hunter whose kayak capsized continued on Sunday, Alabama officials said.

Authorities identified the hunter who went missing Saturday morning on Lake Guntersville as Brooks Hardie, 22, of Georgia.

Hardie was duck hunting when his kayak turned over and he went into the water and never resurfaced, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency officials said.

The accident happened near Goose Pond Resort on Lake Guntersville.

Multiple agencies were involved in the search for Hardie.
