Authorities located the body of a duck hunter who went missing after his kayak flipped over Saturday morning on an Alabama lake.

Alabama state police said searchers located the body of Brooks Hardie, 22, of Georgia.

Hardie was hunting ducks on Lake Guntersville near Goose Pond Resort early Saturday morning when his kayak capsized. He went under water, but never resurfaced.

Authorities said they found Hardie’s body at approximately 3:30 a.m. Monday.
