Friday will be another nice day across the state as we end our week. With this being the last full weekend before the Christmas holiday, many people have plans for Christmas lights, church events, parties, or other festivities. Unfortunately, if the plans are outdoors this weekend, it would be wise to have an alternate plan.

Rain chances for Saturday and Saturday night have only increased as we’ve watched the system moving our direction. We aren’t expecting any severe weather at this time, but some rain could be heavy.

In the meantime, Friday looks to be a sunny, pleasant day with gusty winds.

Gulf Coast

Mostly sunny with a high of 64. Windy with gusts up to 25 miles per hour. Overnight, mostly cloudy with a slight chance of a shower. Low of 53.
