An Alabama teen accused of murdering his brother, threatening to “shoot up the school” he attended and having a “hit list” of other family members he planned to target will be tried as an adult, the local district attorney said.

The now-15-year-old William Speros is accused of killing his brother, 17-year-old Jeremy Speros, in October.

Investigators said shortly after William Speros’ arrest that he confessed to shooting Jeremy Speros and then dragging his body behind their home.

William Speros allegedly attended school the next day and admitted to killing his brother to a friend and asked the friend for help to kill other family members who were on his “hit list.”

Investigators also said that William Speros said he wanted to “shoot up the school” he attended, Pike County High School.

William Speros will be tried for murder as an adult and was being held Thursday without bond, pending a hearing next week.
