We’ll begin the new week with sunny skies and temperatures a little above average across the state. It will also be quite breezy in some places.

We’ll have mostly sunny skies for most of the week, although Wednesday looks to be quite cool compared to the other days.

Right now, we’re watching models showing a system that could approach next weekend. Although we’re a few days out, we could have the potential for a round of storms sometime Saturday or Saturday night. The system could always speed up or slow down, or even not show up at all, so we’ll know more in a couple days.

North Alabama

Central Alabama

Mostly sunny with a high of 60. Breezy with wind gusts up to 20 miles per hour. Partly cloudy overnight with a low of 37.

South Alabama

Mostly sunny with a high of 64. Breezy with wind gusts up to 20 miles per hour. Partly cloudy Monday night with a low of 38.

Gulf Coast

Partly sunny with a high near 68. Mostly cloudy overnight with a low of 42.
