An Alabama teenager was killed early Saturday when the ATV he was driving overturned, ejecting him from the vehicles, state troopers said.

The accident occurred at approximately 1:20 a.m. on Shelby County 62, 3 miles east of Harpersville, state troopers said.

The 17-year-old victim was from Gardendale and was pronounced dead at the scene.

State troopers do not release the identities of juvenile victims.
