The kickoff to the Christmas shopping season will enjoy some partly cloudy skies with chilly temperatures Friday.

We’ll become partly cloudy across most of the state Friday morning with light breezes and highs in the 50s and 60s across the state. The only region that may have a few persistent clouds throughout the day is along the Gulf Coast.

Saturday is shaping up to be nice, but our next round of rain moves in Saturday night and Sunday. We will see another shot of cooler air behind that system.

North Alabama

Central Alabama

Partly cloudy with a high of 60. Becoming clear overnight with a low of 37.

South Alabama

Partly cloudy with a high near 60. Mostly clear Friday night with a low of 37.

Gulf Coast

Partly sunny with a high of 61. Overnight, partly cloudy with a low of 43.
