Starving Alabama dog rescued, now adopted by Ivanka Trump family

A dog found starving on a stretch of Alabama highway hit the jackpot with his new, adoptive (and famous) parents.
Ivanka Trump, daughter of former president Donald Trump posted a photo on social media of the pooch along with her family early Monday.
Simba, who Ivanka described as “our big-hearted and goofy German Shepherd-Lab mix,” was adopted through the Big Dog Ranch Rescue.
She described the dog as a “little warrior puppy” as she introduced him to her 7.5 million followers on Instagram.
