A Mississippi man who was convicted of exposing himself at a university earlier this year also allegedly made intimate recordings of a 9-year-old girl to whom he was teaching piano lessons at a church, a district attorney says.

Mobile County District Attorney officials say Richard Hightower, 53, of Moss Point, Mississippi, recorded intimate images or video of the girl.

He has been charged with voyeurism, first-degree.

The incident allegedly occurred in July, which was after he allegedly exposed himself at the University of South Alabama, but before he was convicted on those charges.

Hightower was found guilty last month of indecent exposure at the University of South Alabama.

The DA’s office said they believe other victims may exist as well and ask anyone with information about additional crimes to contact chief investigator Don Gomien at 251-574-6681.
