‘Armed and dangerous’ Alabama man sought for murder; police said he has extensive, violent past

An Alabama police department was seeking the public’s help to locate a capital murder suspect with a violent criminal history and was considered armed and dangerous.

Police were seeking information on the whereabouts of Tramaine C. Walter, 33, of Selma, Alabama. He goes by the alias “Cmoe Carter Jr.,” police said.

Selma police were called to Vaughan Regional Medical Center at approximately 3 p.m. on Sunday after an unresponsive gunshot victim was brought to the hospital.

Officers found a 32-year-old female suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim later succumbed to her injuries.

Walter is wanted for two counts of capital murder. The suspect has an extensive and violent criminal history and should be considered armed and dangerous.
