Through what can only be described as a bit of a medical anomaly, an Alabama woman is twice as pregnant as most women.

You see she has two uteri and is carrying a baby in each, reports WTVM-TV.

Technically, for mom Kelcey Hatcher, it’s two different pregnancies, though for simplicity sake they’re calling the unborn girls “twins.”

Kelcey and her husband Caleb, of Dora, Alabama, already had their hands full with three other young children, ages 7, 4 and 2.

Doctors say the unusual thing is that since each baby is in its own uterus, each could begin contractions at a different time.

Her due date (or is it dates?) is on Christmas Day.
