An Alabama man and wife were arrested this week and charged with crimes involving the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Marissa and Dylan Bowling, of Loxley, Alabama, were arrested Wednesday after federal prosecutors accused them of entering the Capitol during the January 6 attack.

The Bowlings told investigators they did not enter the Capitol, but federal prosecutors said security footage suggested they did.

They were charged with entering a restricted building, disrupting the conduct of government business and demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol Building.

Each was released on their own recognizance, but are not to leave Alabama.
