An Alabama man and former school administrator who videoed a teenage girl undressing must pay $4 million to the victim, a jury ruled Tuesday.

Tim Odus Clevenger, who was working as assistant principal at the Locust Fork High School in Blount County, was sentenced to 36 years in prison on charges of production of child pornography and other charges stemming from the 2018 investigation.

He was convicted of filming a 14-year-old girl disrobing to take a shower in 2018. He then moved the videos from his phone to his school laptop where they were discovered by the school district’s IT staff.

On Tuesday, a Blount County jury ruled against Clevenger in a civil case on charges of invasion of privacy. The jury ruled he owed the family $4 million.
