Head-on collision kills Alabama man, state troopers say

An Alabama man was killed Monday night when his pickup collided, head-on with another vehicle, Alabama state troopers said.
The two-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 7:28 p.m. Monday, and claimed two lives.
Larry R. Johnson, 56, of Hurtsboro, Alabama, was fatally injured when the 2005 GMC Sierra pickup he was driving collided head-on with the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA driven by Santoyas D. Jackson, 33, of Columbus, Georgia.
Johnson and Jackson were both pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on U.S. 80 near the 18 mile marker, approximately 12 miles south of Auburn, in Macon County.
