Alabama skies: A day for two seasons in Sunday’s weather forecast

If you’re a fan of cloudy, blustery, cool weather, northern Alabama is the place to be. If you enjoy sunshine with a breeze, head to the Gulf Coast. We’ll have two extremes Sunday with more moderate weather in the middle of the state.

In northern Alabama, we’ll struggle to get out of the 50s. Add wind gusts up to 25 miles per hour, and a jacket may be a great idea for church.

We’ll be chilly across the state the next couple mornings.

North Alabama

Mostly cloudy and windy with gusts up to 25 miles per hour. A shower possible in the afternoon. High of 59. Becoming partly cloudy Sunday night with a low of 45.

Central Alabama

Mostly cloudy with wind gusts possible up to 20 miles per hour. High of 62. Partly cloudy overnight with a low of 46.

South Alabama

Partly sunny and breezy with a high of 64. Overnight, partly cloudy with a low of 44.

Gulf Coast
