Family Dollar stores in 23 states — including Alabama — are voluntarily recalling a number of over-the-counter drugs and other products because they were stored at improper temperatures, U.S. Food and Drug Administration officials said.

The list of goods that were potentially stored improperly included dozens of items including well-known brands like Crest, Tylenol, Aleve and Pepto Bismal, just to name a few.

The full list of items affected can be found here.

The items potentially affected were shipped to stores in Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

The shipment occurred between June and earlier this month.
