Alabama Skies: Will rainy weather continue the rest of the week?

The line was sharp between rain and no rain Wednesday. Some places got a decent amount of precipitation from the tropical wave, but not enough to alleviate the drought conditions. Unfortunately, that was our last decent chance for rain for a while.
We could see some scattered showers off and Thursday into Friday night. We’re still not expecting any large amounts, but any rain helps when it’s this dry.
We’ll see some big changes this weekend as another strong cold front moves through. Temperatures will be even cooler than last weekend.
We’re also watching Tropical Storm Sean in the Atlantic Ocean. It’s a long way from the United States with plenty of things that could keep it from being a threat, but it’s worth keeping an eye on a day or two.
