An Alabama man convicted of killing five members of his family in 2019 when he was a teen is seeking a new trial.
Mason Sisk was convicted of four counts of capital murder in April for killing his adoptive parents and three of his siblings in 2019. Sisk was 14 year-old at the time of the murders.
He was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
In new court filings, Sisk is seeking a new trial based seeking to either exclude or include evidence that his defense team should have been handled differently in his first trial.
