Alabama police charged a Mississippi man with felony DUI after police say he struck two people who were changing a tire of a vehicle on the shoulder of a road.

Mobile police arrested Joshua M. Robison, 36, of Ocean Springs, Mississippi Tuesday afternoon after he struck two people on Old Shell Road.

The two people who were struck were taken to a hospital, but police said it appeared they had non-life-threatening injuries.

Robison was charged with felony DUI, driving a vehicle without a license plate and possession of a controlled substance.
