15-year-old indicted on 29 charges after deadly Dadeville Sweet 16 birthday party

A teenager was indicted late last week on 29 charges related to the deadly shooting at an Alabama Sweet 16 birthday party, the local district attorney said.
Sherman Peters, 15, was charged with four counts of reckless murder, 24 courts of first-degree assault and a single count of third-degree assault, District Attorney Mike Segrest wrote Wednesday in a social media post.
The shooting happened in April in Dadeville, Alabama. Peters is being charged as an adult.
Also charged in the case are:
Johnny Letron Brown, 20, of Reeltown.
Willie George Brown Jr., 19, of Auburn.
Wilson LaMar Hill Jr., 20, of Auburn.
Ty Reik McCullough, 17, of Tuskegee.
Travis McCullough, 16, of Tuskegee.
Four people, three of them teenagers, were killed in the April 15 shooting at the Dadeville dance hall where a 16-year-old’s birthday party was being held.
